I ran into this problem on my passenger side. My driver's side I was able to hit with a mallet and it came out easily. That bolt is stuck to the bushing it goes through. You'd have to use a induction heater and risk melting the bushing. OR, you can do what I did...

- Remove 19mm nut from under the strut
- Use chisel and punch it in the crack between the strut and the C-arm (for lack of a better name)
- Pull the C-arm towards you until you free the strut
and what a coincidence that I actually am stuck with the bolt. Trying this now...

Update: got the bracket to start separating from the c bracket and started to pull on the bracket with not much luck.

Well thanks everyone for the help/ tips and tricks but I've resorted to getting them installed at a shop. That way they can deal with any more corroded and seized nuts and bolts and get the suspension all done and ready to drive while it's still sunny. Once it hits winter, I'll be doing the reinstall of the stock dampers and hopefully that'll go smoother when all the pieces have been removed at least once in the last year.

All those poor rusted nuts/bolts/components.

Hope all goes well with the shop having them installed!

Did you try undoing the sway bar? i would also try not bolting the other side back together before completing both fronts.
