Default Torque Spec For Brake Component (s) Front / DIY Install?

Does anyone know the torque spec for the caliper bolts to re-install?

What parts require lubrication/cleaning?

Is there a detailed step by step on how to DIY front brakes?

Are you just doing the pads? I'm replacing my pads when they come in to stop the brake dust factory...there's a good pads only DIY on a 2nd gen 350 and the caliper doesn't even have to come off. Ours are basically the same... https://www.clublexus.com/forums/suspension-and-brakes/276736-diy-is350-front-brakes-w-o-removing-caliper.html

Thank you for the reply and link. I did come across the DIY video and pictures wasn't sure if applied to 3rd generation as it was the 2nd generation is250 / 350 / is-f mixed.

I'm doing rotor and pad on fronts. I went to dealer to check as my pads indicators were squeeling. Said needed brakes and rotors 2mm left and wanted 719$+ tax rip off. I just got my own aftermarket parts and will do myself as will be my first time. Surprised they won't install aftermarket parts even if I pay for labor only will do OEM. I think OEM is complete junk need new brakes at 29k that is crazy...I do feel grinding under hard braking now and it squeekes obviously pads are gone ...might as well change rotor as they are rusty too I'm not salvaging them change them out. Tired of the brake dust so much it produces it's unreal. Going with luk Schaffer ceramics for pads and luk Schaffer premium e dip rotor blank.

I do have all the stuff ready to complete just don't know the spec for the caliper to the plate is it 25 f lb torque as I've seen online does it apply? The dealer won't tell me got hung up on called around other places and they say it's too new to have it on record they don't know complete run around.

100ft lbs for the front brakes for the IS350 according to the manual in TIS.

Follow the DIY you linked in your original post. It is pretty spot on even after 9 years!

I thought that too was way to much but the bolts were very hard to get off they felt really tight and I didn't think I would get them off but I was able to. I did the 100 torque and seems to do hold up well!

The rotor and pad change was successful no issues ..it was a good DIY reference anyone can do this job on their own save lots of money!!

here are some random pictures I took during the install. Look at the crappy OEM pads how worn they are I got this car used at 11k and rotor + pad replaced at 29k

much happier with my after-market pads/rotors so far good bye nasty black brake dust and squeeling!!!
