Anyone got a DIY Brake pads....
I'm gonna get some new EBC pads for the GS and change them myself. Was wondering how hard it is? If someone could get me a DIY I'd appreciate it alot. Thanks.

The brake pads are not easy to change but not super hard either. Biggest problem I had was installing the clips correctly on the fronts while getting them on the rotor before it all fell apart. The rears were pretty simple (tiny little things). The calipers are held on by (2) 17mm? bolts for each one. Just take off the bolts and slide the assembly off the rotor..make sure you compress the piston so the new pads will fit over the rotor when you re-install. I think someone put up a generic DIY for this job...I'll look for it or maybe someone knows where it is.
Hope that helps.

its pretty much the same way! I've done mine twice and I can tell you its pretty easy to do. The hardest part is putting the pads on the rotor clips and hoping they don't pop out before you get them back on the rotor!

The link helps you as a guide, but is not GS specific. I would only do 1 at a time even take a digital snap shot of it so you know where all the parts go back. For beginners, all these clips and parts get to be confusing but its really not that complicated. If all else fails take it too your local brake shop.
Good luck
