2015 IS Fsport RWD lowered on RSR Downs, the problem i have is that the rear tire rubs on big bumps on the inner rear bumper liner, I have no rubbing on the inside rear fenders. 20x10 wheel with 255/30/20 tire and a 40 offset. Would a rear wheel with a 42-45 offset help get rid of the rubbing? You guys that are slammed do you have this problem? Thanks
From my research this setup doesn't rub on RSR Down springs, but I'll report back on that.
I go through some super harsh dips where I'm at, so I'll put them through a good test.
Been dealing with my 19" setup rubbing so I'm well aware of what situation causes them .

Reason: added rear specs
Sometimes the tire brand/model plays a role in it's width. Some tires have a more rounded side profile and/or a narrower section width than other brands of the same "size" allowing more clearance. You might want to consider comparing yours to other tires as they may be a cheaper alternative to changing wheels especially if you like them.

Post some pics should look killer. I think the CVTs were made for this car
Update: New Vossen setup went on without a hitch.
Went through some rather harsh dips. I didn't go full speed as the wheels are still brand new, but I'm happy to report that the rubbing is non-existent.
I feel I bottom out on the RSR down springs before any rubbing can occur.
I'll get pics up later

Good to hear! I guess i need a rear 45 offset. What rear tires are you using, im running the Falken Azenis FK 453 255/30/20. Now get us some pictures of that bad boy!
I just installed vossens vle1's 20x9 20x10.5 same off sets as you guys. Same tire size 235/30r20 and 255/30r20 Im lowered on rsr down springs got falken tires and im rubbing. I rolled rear fenders same day still rubbed. I had to order spc rear camber kits.
steveo55. I love the smooth sidewall on the Falkens but they must run a bit wider than other brands. Are your vle!'s 45 rear offset? let us know how the rear camber kit works out.
So i had the SPC rear camber kits installed the tech put them at negative 4.4 degrees no more rubbing. After he aligned it now the front rubbed crazyness it didnt used to or maybe rear was so bad i couldnt here front but i heard it today. Not sure what to do next
