Default Car vibrating only when braking at high speeds - help

My car vibrates when i apply brakes going over 70mph.

Brakes work perfect while applying brakes under 50mph.

What seems to be the problem and how much will it cost at Lexus dealership?

Is it better to goto a brake specialist or Lexus dealership?

No brake warning lights on dash - so can i keep driving until i hit a tree?

Thank you for your help.

Combination of the brakes, rotors, and what could be faulty calipers. This all assumes that the wheels are not bent, balanced, no wheel weights missing, and the lug nuts are torqued to spec.

My '06 IS350 had rear seized up calipers that caused excessive brake pad usage. I'd check there first. Then try new pads first (cheaper than rotors). Then if the problem persists, get the new rotors.

^^^^I hope you bedded them in first! And yes, new rotors have a coating that's gets burned off in the first few miles. Did you check the pads for thickness? If they were close would have been a good time to change them as well.

Had this exakt problem . Started after a while on new rotors but with a bit klonky front end. I changed the 48674-40051 CUSHION STRUT BAR
front bushings for new OEM. 37$ each. Pressed them in with home made 10 ton press . (60$) . (also changed lower balljoints but those where not bad.) felt better but STIL vibrated at 70 mph if I braked more then lightly. Theory slight defect in rotors that was due to the vibrations from worne bushings. Tried to avoid braking to induce the vibration. Instead often braked a bit extra from lower speeds. Voila. After a few months the Vibration is gone at the high speed. New rotors (again) probably would have helped too.
