Unhappy Lowering awd is250 problems

Hey guys so I lowered my is250 awd, just the front so far, both fender to ground is 25". Two questions, is that a safe height to drive so the axles won't get messed up? And also CHECK VSC and CHECK 4WD came on, also my traction control says its off.. Anyone know what to do?!

When you do any suspension work, always perform an alignment. It will help your tire wear in the long run (unless you have qualms in spending money on tires).

Yes, a search of the forums here will show that a lot of AWD users run this setup and either have the CV boot and axle leak or not (it's a hit or miss). Common issue with lowering our AWD platforms is the vibration associating with lowering (it's just as talked about as the axles and CV boots).

The CHECK VSC, CHECK 4WD, and traction control can be something with the AFS (if you have factory HIDs, where the lowbeams swivel left or right when you're making a turn/corner at a certain speed) when you lowered the car.

Default Suspension warning lights

1) Could be your wheel speed sensor, but I recon that the ABS light would be on too.
2) Possible that your system is faulting because the car is not "level" any longer since you've only lowered the front of the vehicle.

Find out what codes your car is throwing via your OBDII port, and go from there.

I would lower the front and rear to even height, and make sure any sensors you unplugged are plugged back in (if you had to unplug any, I had a shop do mine so I'm not sure).

I like the painted wheel, matches with the exterior color. make sure all the sensors are plugged in, not sure the reason to lowered awd cars. awd made a little taller from the factory is to prevent "buttom out" if it's lowered, it's has no point to be awd.

I can't believe I have to explain this.. AWD gives you "easier" traction in unfavourable conditions like rain, snow, or ice. The system works at lowered heights too

those lights usually only turn on if you've changed the rolling diameter as in running different tire sizes front to rear or if you have a staggered setup or are running spacers...Never heard of those lights just coming on from lowering...the wheels look good though...did you plasti dip them?
