Question RaceTech Rotors

I miss out on the group buy with Steve Ganz on the RaceTech rotor deal several months ago. Now I am thinking about getting them mainly for looks and hopefully better braking performance. I know some of you have purchased these rotors in August 2002 and I just want to see if anyone have any issues regarding them. I contacted Steve and he still sells RaceTech rotors and EBC pads.

My stock rotors are a bit warped due to some high speed hard braking. I never had any cars that had cross drilled and/or slotted therefore would appreciate some expert advices. I heard that cross drilled rotors tend to crack. How is noise, feel and performance? Is the SS line needed?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the advise but I had already done that. I am quite familiar with the SEARCH feature of this site. I got three hits if I search with "RACETECH".

And if I search with "Race Tech rotor" I get your post.

What I am asking for are owners with RaceTech rotors installed. There were 35 buyers on the last Group Buy in August 2002.

I have used RT rotors for about 10 months now. I'm not sure about the cracking part. I have no issue with any cracking.

The noise level is a little higher than stock rotors and the x-drilled rotors will generate more brake dust due to the vantilation. But I can live with that in return of the more agressive looking

Bravo,

I still have the TT brake system with RT rotors.

Chu,

With cad coating, you won't get any rust at all.
