Question Is a 1.5' drop safe?

greetings, i have Tein CS coilovers on the way as soon as the holidays are over and plan to drop my SC4 1.5' all around. my rims are 18x8.5 all around and was wondering if lowering my car that low would be safe...Will i have any problems with my car that low? such as tires wearing out faster, or alignment problems, camber, etc.? If that's not a safe height, what would be? Your guys' advice will be greatly appreciated...thanks

normally... It will wear your tires out faster... cause alignment problems... Camber... The best drop is about 1" which the stock kit would correct.

A 1" drop doesn't even look like you have lowered the car. Here is a pic of my car with Teins lowered more then an inch and it still looks high. I would say it is close to a 1.5" drop in the front.

AzLex,

Nice car and all. But you may be more cautious of posting large pics like that. Maybe you can shrink it down to a size that is better fit to a message board. I noticed that the mod's adjusted your other message for you.

Thanks

Azlex, your car is clean, tight rims.....yea i got my teins in and I agree that a 1" drop looks like nothing.... i dropped mine 1.5" all around and there's still that annoying gap in the front....
