Just dropped my 2002 Lexus GS on Tein coils on stockies and just went to get an alignment

im getting crazy camber numbers and wanna see if other peoples matches up.

Depends on how low you are... Are you slammed frame or just a couple inches dropped?

 

front and back are tucked.

i think front bumpers like 6 inches off the ground.

the thing is the numbers for camber are almost up to -2.#

i cant tell if the guys were just lazy and didnt want to try to get it into spec .

 

my front bumper is about 2.5 in off the ground.. Im on 19s but that shouldn't matter too much. I went and did my alignment 2days ago. my front is -4.5 and my rear is -4 ...toes in spec.

 

all my toes are around 0.1 so they should be good

however one toe is -0.19, and the camber is around -1.8

does that sound about right?

would it help if i posted up exact specs haha. and how long should tires last ROUGHLY?

 

Yes post up the alignment specs.

No one will know how long your tires will last. There are way too many variables and it's not a black and white issue.

Cross camber in the rear could have been better. I would have had them adjust the rear left camber to match the rear right.

My bad. Yes, get the rear left camber to match the rear right even if it means you'll have to go more negative on that side. You want to minimize cross camber as much as possible to avoid pulling. Plus you'll wear out the tires more evenly.

The tech sure did put a lot of toe out on the rear though. Most guys run more toe-in in the rear for stability. I've ran toe-out in the rear before and it gets pretty unstable sometimes.

 

i didnt know anything about alignment so i hnestly just told the guy get it as close to spec as possible.

 

Getting it to spec is no longer valid when you are lowered a few inches. There is no reason to want OEM specifications if you're not using OEM suspension. At this point, getting the left and right side to match up is more important. Reduce toe-in up front if you want a slightly longer tire life. Other than that, the front end looks reasonable.

 

yeah just get the toe in spec and ur good. camber doesnt matter much.

 

i just got an alignment today and got the spec sheet in my hand. shop did an excellent job i think.

How low am i ? to me is low enuff u can barely fit a pinky between fender and tire lol. this is my ride. i dropped it about 1.5 inch more from that pic why ? cause im insane haha on coils btw.
