Help with lighter wheels
I was thinking about replacing my stock 16"s with stock 17"s to improve the handling while maintaining a stock look, but I read here that the stock wheels are pretty heavy so I started looking for lighter wheels.
What do you guys think about these rpf1s? The offset on the enkeis is 45mm which is 5mm less than stock 17"s.. is that going to cause problems? And it looks I could get hubcentric rings with an inner diameter of 60.1mm and outer of 73mm for the enkeis.
Will the lighter wheels work? I'm thinking about picking up a set off craigslist.

IMHO, the best/nicest and most affordable light wheels are the Forgestar F14. Look them up. A set can be had for under $2k without tires and the 19" sizes weigh only 21.5lbs! To put things in perspective my multipiece forged wheels are 31lbs; good thing I have a lot of power mods! If I switched to the Forgestars I would be saving almost 10lbs per corner of unsprung rotational weight! Fyi, it is said that every 10lbs of unsprung weight removed is the equivalent of removing 80lbs of static weight...so it would make the car faster, turn and brake better. good luck
