Don't get springs go for coils. U r going to waste ur money and not b satisfied, springs don't drop enough to matter IMO!!

springs are cheaper...many have sold theirs to go for coils to help lower more, adjust evenly, add stiffness for stanced wheels. Some popular springs are Tein, H&R (my favorite), I'm drawing a blank on the LOWEST springs. Forgot the name.
Popular coils are MeganLP and Megan EZ, BC Racing, KW V3...and more.

It's a matter of like and dislike. Personally I would go with either the F-Sport or H&R springs. I just hate the look of a $40,000 car slammed on coils or air. IMO only Hondas deserve that kind of treatment.

Go with H&R springs and a couple degrees of camber, and a nice set of Vossens.

+1 ^^^

If you're looking for an inexpensive quick drop then springs, but if you can fork out more go with coils. I'm currently on H&R springs and have no wheel gap on stock 18's, but like many other 2IS owners ill will be switching to coils in a few months.

That's the same thing I did, I went with spring but 6 months later changed to coils. Coils give u the option of riding stock if I'm going out of town or slammed if I'm in town!

Wink

So it looks like I might as well get Coils because I want to be able to have that option, lift and drop as I please instead of getting springs and eventually changing them anyways. Alright I made my decision, Thanks A lot guys! Ill be making a couple more Mods and will probably ask a couple more questions later on

You can consider the Tanabe DF210 for the GS, it's like 2.2" drop (not the IS version)

Don't you have to get an alignment every time you raise or lower your car?
