Default Sc300 prothane bushings with TT lcas.

Hey guys, trying to fit a set of prothane LCA bushings on my car equipped with tt lcas and its seeming the bushings are too small. I was under the impression supra tt lcas and sc lcas had the same size bushings. Can anyone else confirm this?

I guess we just didnt realize we had to use the old shell, no biggie after we figured it out.

Biggest complaint about the prothane kit is they require you to remove the inner metal sleeve from the lower rear control arm bushing and that sleeve literally had the bushing molded onto it, was not a press in.

You figure prothane coulda provided that sleeve like other kits on the market do for minimal increase in cost.

And you ended up cutting that spacer off? was noticing that last night when attempting to slide it in

I imagine they will slide right in with correct force as they were in there from the PO

Yessir. You can find complete detailed pics on my thread, except how I forced it in 'cause that required both hands and feet. Lol

All I did was force the camber side of the LCA with a jack, while assisting the caster side with my hands. The camber side was the one that'll have a tight fit. The crossmember will slice off a tiny bit of the polyurethane, but I was fine with it 'cause it was a solid piece and I don't think it made a difference.

i still had to use a jack to get my LCA back onto the car too, with that extra spacer on the end there was no way, and i guess it could have if the poly sheared off but i did my best to keep it in one piece and just cut the extra spacer off the end with my trusty angle grinder, and then deburred the edges.
