Exclamation ALL Mechanic/Brake Guru's, brakes making weird noise w/ aftermarket wheels. *VIDEO*

I need everyone to chime in on this and see what you think the issue might be..

So let me start off with a little information about my car'. I have a 2007 IS250 AWD with around 78,000 km on it. I had my 19" after-market wheels for almost 3.5 years now.

Almost 1.5 year ago, I noticed my brakes were making a extremely weird squeaking/creaking noise when I'm almost at a complete stop (as shown in video).. At first, I thought it's probably a sign to change the brake pads which I did about 6 months ago and it did not solve the issue... The sound only comes out with my 19" wheels but when I install my 17" OEM wheels for the winter time, the sound completely disappears..

Again, I never had any brake issues with my 19's before until recently.. I thought maybe I need to replace the rotors too but before I do that, I thought I might get some opinions from you guys first. BTW, I have not replaced my rotors yet since purchase of the car back in 2007..
Thanks!

I know this sounds weird but did you change out your brake shims (anti squeal). I no you said it doesn't make the noise when you have your 17's on but this might really be the problem

Sounds like the shims just like accelerate said. My 07 IS 250 AWD is squealing (on stock 17s) coming to a stop and it's pretty much my shims.

i would have to agree, try cleaning your shims with brake cleaner and using some anti squeal brake compound on your shims. you can buy them in small packs at any auto shop for about $1

Thanks for all your inputs, but the shim kits were replaced with new ones along with the brake pads. The sound actually gets even more worst on a rainy day
