Rear Breake help!!!!.....Car wont move!!!!
hey guys need some help on my rear break situation. I have a 2007 Lexus IS 250 AWD. I did my front brakes(pads and rotors) last week with out any problem. I tried to do the rear brakes(pads and rotors) last night and didn't seem to go to well. I've been reading the forms all night about this, seems many people have issues with this. I'm not sure if AWD is different from a RWD or anything but my caliper seems different from the ones i have seen on here. My caliper only has 2 14mm bolts to pop off that's it, then i can pop off the caliper. So i get done button everything up, and i go to put the car in reverse and the car just sits there does not go no where!!! I had to give it gas to move. I just went up and down the driveway, its like i had my brakes permanently on. I don't get it out, i jack it up again look over everything, everything looks perfect. I followed the video i seen leaking around here. My question is could it be the 2 sliding pins that go in the caliper were to tight or something? I doubt my caliper seized i was able to move it back with the c-clap no problem maybe it did?. Am i missing something guys? I did double check that i had the right parts and everything...and when i did put the brakes into the caliper it was a very tight squeeze i had to get a hammer to get them in there. Could use any suggestions, thanks guys!! I'm at a total lost here guys. It seems i have the wrong pads, or rotors but they are identical to the OEM ones and i double/triple checked i had the right ones.

ok, so after lurking around some more i found a guy with the same issue. I might have 2WD rotors and not 4WD Rotors. I have rotor# YH200512 I look them up do not see 4WD so i think i might have the wrong ones. Im not sure if i did, i got them from advance auto and it does not say 2wd or 4wd its just says rear
Everywhere i look online, RWD and AWD are the same part number!!! please help

found the problem!!!! the caliper is seized. The part the bolts to the bracket does not move. That's why i took off the two 14mm bolts instead of the one 19mm bolt!!!! so Caliper was been ordered!

^I was going to say, your calipers are seized up...just like mine were. When I put in new pads and new rotors and went to brake-in the set, I nearly set fire to everything back there! The caliper got hot enough to melt of the 1500 degree caliper paint!
GL on the fix; simply just needs new calipers.

I had the same issue with my '08, I was going to replaced my rotors and noticed that the rear rotors were still almost new and it was because the 2 rear calipers were completely seized open.
