Default pillars are ceased?

does anyone know is going on. lexus told me on my rear brakes my pillars are ceased. they said when i brake the pillar isnt moving back and forth and that my rear brake pads can wear faster this way. she said it cost $400 a side to fix WOW

Calipers; your calipers could be seized... If thats the case do a BBK upgrade, please dont pay retail cost for oem ISx50 calipers. lol

You can get good loaded reman rear calipers off ebay for $100 a piece. If you know anything about working on cars, this will be an easy fix. If not, purchase the parts yourself and take them to a good local shop that won't hit you so hard in the wallet.

Have you checked your car's history to see if the rear brake caliper TSIB was performed or not?

thanks i'll check sewell lexus and ebay for the parts. in the meantime what is a TSIB? im trying to check my service history but the lexus owners site isnt letting me. it keeps asking me my vin# then when i put it in it says i already have that vin# for my primary car.

TSIB = Lexus Technical Service Bulletin. Kinda like a recall, but not one.
