Default brake bleeding problem

i replaced my front pads on my 98 gs400 today. i started to bleed my brakes starting with the rear right. had someone step on the brake pedal then i opened the bleeder until i seen a stream of brake fluid with no air. then i closed the valve and he let off the brake pedal. did it again just to make sure no air was in the brake line. then when i went to do the rear left no fluid would come out. tried it a few times and gave up. last week i changed just the rear pads with out bleeding the brakes. the pedal wasnt too bad. now the pedal reaches to the floor. any one know what could be the problem.

You did make sure to add brake fluid into the master cylinder reservoir, right?

It never went dry at any point?

Might still have air in the system. Did you follow the proper bleeding procedure as stated in the manual?

Was the key on the "ON" position. I believe the rears are electronically controlled. And, i also think you should start with the fronts first.
