Tires
i am in St. Louis going to school and need some new tires that can work in the rain and maybe a little snow right now i have p7000 and THEY SUCK i am allllllllll over the place my rear end goes out all the time. And they are not bald. I am looking for some new tires that can stand up in the rain and then be taken home to CALI during the summer time. I was thinking about some kumos or so PO-3 but let me know what type of tires you are running and you winter experiances. I am looking for a tire that i can get some milage on also.
P.S. they are running on 18" rims 8.5 in the front and 10" in the back

Dunlop SP5000's, or if you want to go more exotic, get the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S. They are Excellent in the dry, excellent in the wet, and i'll get back to you about snowy conditions...I haven't had them that long yet..

From what I've heard the Michelin Pilot A/S are the ones to go with but they are VERY pricey. I have the SP5000's and they are okay. Kind of a good al around tire. Not spectacular in the dry or wet but gets me through the winter. For just dry/wet conditions I like the Toyo T1S. Spectaular wet performance with very very good dry performance. I was surprised considering they aren't too expensive.

Here is another alternative to the other tires.
BFG KDWS, ultra hi-performance all season (Key Features: Dry, Wet, and Snow) - also made by Michelin but at half the cost of the Sport A/S. Very quiet, very responsive, handles the recent downpour here in the Bay Area without any trouble. It has the same treadwear, traction, and temperature ratings as the Sport A/S (400, AA, A) only it does not look as aggressive as the Sport A/S.
