Default Manaray's Big Brake Kit

For those who are interested:
I got an e-mail from Manaray saying it was ok for me to post this photo and info.
The Brembo kit that he announced last week isn't going to happen. Manaray was able to put together a much better kit for around the same price.

Here are the details:

-Wilwood 6 Piston calipers (5.2 lbs. each)
-13" Minimum, two-piece rotors (Largest that can fit behind the stock 17" wheels). Most likely cross-drilled, slotted, and cross- drilled/slotted rotors will be offered.
-EBC Green Stuff pads
-Stainless lines

Pricing will be under $2k

The first 10 people to pre-order this Brake Kit wil receive special pricing.

I have already pre-ordered and paid, so only nine spots left!!!

Contact Manaray via e-mail. gs430@mac.com

Here is a pic of the Rotor and Caliper:

Let the questions begin:

Since these work on the stock 17's, I am assuming the will work on L-Tuned 18's.

How much improvement is there in breaking?

These will have no problem fitting behind the L-Tuned 18's. The stopping power of any 6-piston system is amazing. You can do a search on the AP Racing 6-piston setup to read testimonies.

FYI: The total piston area of these calipers is greater than that of the AP setup.

The rotor pictured may or not be the actual size offered in this kit. The rotor offered will be AT LEAST 13". But to put things into perspective, that caliper is over 9" long.

whew, i was thinking somethings wrong there. i just hope that the actual rotor is more beefy. I was thinking that the wilwood kit comes w/ a 13" rotor but the hats like 12" itself. that would just suck!

Hey how much are pads for that setup?

I am closing this thread because I started an "official" one...this will prevent the same questions being asked in two different threads...

Thanks to Cerberus for posting that picture up for me...Chris, I know you're just dying to get a set installed on your car...hehehe...you'll be the first GS with that setup...
