Default Ceased Calipers

Has anyone had their rear IS350 calipers slide pins cease up? I have a 2008 CPO IS350 that was purchased in July 2011 and the rear caliper slide pins have ceased up. To replace them it is $600.00. Is this common? Does the caliper, slide pin, and bracket come apart? I am trying to powder coat the calipers and can get them apart. Some advice would be greatly appreciated.

My car one of the rear pins were seized, I had to cut the pin, replace the caliper and order a new pin for the bracket

unless you have an oxy/acetylene torch you wont be able to get the pin out
