l-tuned stage1 and stage 2 shocks
hey, does anyone know about stage1 or stage2 ltuned shocks?
I made a call to lexus dealer locally here in denver to buy l-tuned shocks, and they told me they recommend stage2 l-tuned shocks. is it true or are they just bs-ing me to charge more for nothing?
thanks

What your dealer is probably referring to is the "Series Two" package.
Series One is the body kit plus wheels and tires. Series Two is all of that plus springs, shocks and the ECU. The components can be bought seperately. There is only one set of shocks.

thats funny because thats what I thought but I have the springs and told them just wanting to buy the shocks to install with springs at same time they specifically told me with recommendation of stage2 shocks. they didn't refer to series 2 package or anything. so I guess I have to see.

Either they are BSing or they just don't know. They are sold, as far as their website is concerned, in 2 packages. Series 1 is an appearance upgrade. (It is arguable that the 18" wheels does more than appearance.) Series 2 contains the performance upgrade, including the shocks and springs (in addition to everything in Series 1). Maybe this where the confusion at the dealer lies.
Not every dealer or parts person is familiar with the L-Tuned setup. If they do end up charging you too much, check with Steve Ganz.
