Default d2 racing coilovers for 98 lexus gs400 hellp

hello everyone I am having trouble with my new d2 racing coilovers that I purchased. Who ever has them I only have one question which coilovers are for the front and which ones are for the back. need hellp asappp. I believe my mechanic put it on backwards because the triangle shaped coilovers are in the back and the circular ones are in the front.I believe thats wrong because the back is low and the front is high. Please help I want to take it back but I need to have a reason and make sure its not me being crazy.

when u first take em out the box, the shorter bodies is for the front and the longer bodies is for the rear. like breadbeat said, u have to adjust them to get it to the height u want. pretty easy to adjust so just read the manual thats given to u.

coilovers are adjustable!!!! thats one of the main reason people buy them as opposed to shocks/springs

like licelsior said short ones r for the front, longers are for the rear

sounds like you have them installed correctly. i talked to d2 about my setup and they actually dont make the new style D2s like the old purple ones. the lower cup is actually too long on the fronts causing the ride height to be high. i ended up modifying my lower cup in the front to make them go lower. D2 verified that they dont go that low and they suggested to cut about an inch off the lower cup. i think its BS for them to say that, and was pretty upset, but after i modified mine, it goes all the way to the floor and no issues for about 8 months so far.
