To clarify, that guy is a retard. You can use spacers if you don't drop the car at all. Do you understand what spacers do? They bring the tire and wheel out further from the hub and closer to the edge of the fender.

Here is my car I just put spacers on last week. 15mm front 20mm rear on stock 18's with F Sport Springs and its even a IS350 like yours.

I went with the Ichiba spacers. I got them from Tommy @ Musicbox. If I were to order them myself I would get them in the vendor section from this sponsor:

The guy who told you that is wrong. This is my IS with spacers and stock Sport suspension. It made a huge visual difference in my car. Moving the wheels out makes the wheel to fender gap look smaller. I even had people ask me what lowering springs I was running.

you wont have any problems with fender work if u do 15mm front and 20mm rear. well, NO problems unless u slam the car like me... get the spacers! you wont regret it. it will bring the wheels closer to the fender making it SEXY ^^
