KW V3 for GS300? If not, can I use IS300 application or another alternative?
Hey guys, right now I'm running on Stance GR+ on my 2GS and have been for almost 2years.
They are definitely a great coilover for the $, but I want something more aggressive like the KW V3s. I just took a ride in my friends IS300 and it was VERY comfortable on the track, but still firm enough as well.
Another plus is that the KW V3s can be run in the winter, which saves me a lot of switching back and forth to my winter setup.
So my questions are:
1) Can I run an IS300 application and switch to an appropriate spring rate for the GS300. I've read the coilovers will actually bolt on, but the springs will be too soft.
2) If I do go with the KW V3, do I need to get them revalved for GS spring rates?
2) If the KW V3 aren't an option, what is similar to it that I can also run in the winter and give me the same performance or better than KW V3.
I want to start tracking the GS300 and also bring it on some nice backroads as well.
Thanks!

The V3's aren't really more "aggressive". If you need a stiffer setup you'd be better off with a coilover that you could get the rates you want with appropriate valving.
Nobody but KW makes a stainless steel body coilovers and unfortunately they do not have a 2gs application.
