Default Bilstein HD

Hi

Do the Bilstein HD shocks to suit the 2nd Gen GS300 have the height adjusting circlips with multiple grooves?

Thanks. Got some on order now. Most likely I will use the stock springs and set the circlip in the lowered position.

Yes the circlip height can be set about 15mm lower.

I put mine on the lower position (they come shipped on the upper position) it dropped the car about 3/4" from stock height

Yes both front and back have two positions yes I am happy it feels like the oem shocks but as if you added 10 more psi to your tires. Got rid of the
marshmallow ride. Much better damping, better handling and better over big bumps. I still have too much body roll but I need to change sways for that

Interesting. Wonder if these would be sufficient when upgrading to 18's to take care of wheel gap?

yes, both f/r have 2 perch positions, but i don't think it will be 3/4" it will be more like 1/2" or less (1 skinny finger).

You will not be able to notice much difference in height from stock. You really need to use something purposely intended for lowering to make a dramatic difference.

Yeah you hardly can see the difference the gap is more even all around the tire only reason I could tell how much it dropped was by the clearance to my jack. I did not actually measure the drop just a guesstimate
