GS430 Master cylinder interchangable with a GS400??

Talking GS430 Master cylinder interchangable with a GS400??
I really like how the brakes feel better on my GS430 than my GS400. Recently, I discovered that the GS430's M/C is larger than the GS400's M/C and wondered if I can replace the the GS400's for the GS430's Master Cylinder?!?

Both cars is 2nd Gen, same brakes but the master cylinder is larger on the late model (GS430).

If anyone has done this or know if this is doable, let me know.. Thanks!

yes u can....think u need to retain some of your plugs/switches but its doable. there are few threads on this don

I just did it two weeks ago for another member. Exact fit. Just swap one sensor. You need a deep socket. I posted the size somewhere... check my profile and recent post or search.

Hows the swap? and where did you end up getting a 01-05 GS300/GS430 BMC. Mine is acting up and im in the market also
