Default Interchange Master Cylinder

I was doing some searching on car-part.com to find a replacement master cylinder for my 99 GS400. Searching for an 01 GS430, it listed interchange vehicles as 03,04 and 05 4Runners.

I compared the part number lists and there are certainly differences but the booster motor and the accumulator are the same. The reservoir, actuator tube, and replacement master cylinder piston part numbers are different though and I can see this in photos of the two units.

Does anyone have experience with these to know if the piston size or hydraulic block, including abs solenoids are fundamentally different? I can't see why it would be listed as an interchange part if they are. The electrical connectors are the same as well.

I know many of you are going to say stick with the one for a gs430, it's your brakes, be safe, blah blah blah. That's not what I'm asking. If it's the same base part, it's the same base part even if I have to change the reservoir and cylinder piston. To use the 01 part I'm already having to swap the pressure sensor.

Here's an ebay link with some really clear photos of the 4runner part http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...#ht_5859wt_762

What do you guys think?
