my car is bottoming out, ahh!!!
So I have about 90k miles on my is350. I know I'm supposed to have my suspension checked at about 60k, but I have not had any problems until recently.
To be more specific, the rear of my car will bottom out randomly over bumps. It does not happen every time, and speed usually plays a factor in whether my car bottoms out or not.
Also, by bottoming out I mean my car will make a thud noise and u can feel the rear part of the car hit something. However, the bottom of my car does not hit the ground, I think the thud is from my tires hitting the top of the wheel well.
I don't want to go to a shop and pay for an inspection if i simply need new suspension. If its something that might be repairable, I will definitely take it in. Otherwise, I don't want to waste my time and I'd rather just buy aftermarket suspension.
Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks!

Are you lowered at all? (springs or coils?) Most likely the shocks are bad and need replacing.
Bottoming Out is when all the coils on the springs are compressed to where the spring rate is infinite, meaning that all the coils are touching each other (correct me if i'm wrong).

No I'm not lowered, everything except my intake and exhaust is stock.
I don't know if my shocks are leaking either, but I have not seen any fluids around my car at all lately. What are some signs I should be looking for?
