New suspension, ball joints, caster arms...
I just spent a week changing out my suspension, control arms, ball joints, and caster arms. The hardest part was getting the camber bolts out of the lower arms.
I put new caster arms. I ordered 2003 versions even though my car is a '98. The newer ones have bigger bushings. I also changed tie rods and one upper control arm. I also put in new Sewell Lexus steering rack bushings.
For the suspension I put KYB GR2's with L-tune springs. I had Bilstein Sport with L-Sportline springs. I found the ride with the Bilstein a tad on the harsh side. Nice if you are into rally car driving but I am getting old and I really like getting into a comfortable car...
Took the car out for run and I really like the way it is handling. Pretty much like new. Tight steering and responsive. The ride is also more pleasant. Not too soft. I already had TRD sways so that helps keep the car flat.
BTW my 60mph vibration is pretty much gone. I'll be getting an alignment this week so hopefully when that's done the car will ride leven better.
