Welcome. From what I've seen here on the forum, seems like most folks go with F-Sport springs or BC Racing coilovers for their AWD ISX50. Unfortunately the vibration may still be there. Some don't get it, while others live with it. If you do drop it, careful of your CV Boots. Perhaps some lowered AWD owners could give their .02
Just the springs would be more cost effective if he wants to lower the car. If he decides he wants to get the shocks as well, might as well get the coilovers because they'll come out to be roughly the same price albeit maybe $150 more. But with the BC Coils you get the height range AND the dampening system which in itself may be worth it for his wife. Both hard and soft settings are a nice feature on these coils
cool,i think i will look at the bc coils,or just the f-sport springs.is there a couple different versions of the f-sport springs?the way it sounds some people have this viberation problem and some don't?i don't get it. any know if the f-sport springs will effect the cv boots?

no there is just one version of f spring... bc coilover is only good if you are going to use them properly and that is to adjust height and/or firmness. i just think you can save the trouble just by going with spring or spring + shock. the spring or spring + shock wont have an aggressive appearance though.... it will be noticeable and conservative, and it is basically install and forget kind of deal. i dont think ull be changing rims so coilover wont be that beneficial. just my opinion

Get Megaz EZ coilovers... they're very good and affordable. And your ride will be even smoother on softer settings, just don't slam the car too much or you'll have vibration and other problems. I deal with it daily haha!
