hey i just got my balljoints put in, and i drive the car it seems like it has a little camber on both sides and one wheel what appears to be out more then other... i dont know why but do you think it needs an alignment after balljoint replacement or it can be something else?

UPDATE: GOT THE ALIGNMENT DONE AND IT DRIVES LIKE NEW!! SO YOU DO NEED AN ALIGNMENT AFTER BALL JOINTS NO MATTER WHAT ANYONE TELLS YOU LOL!

a few people said ohh you dont need an alignment after balljoint replacement but as soon as i got them done the car just drives sloppy and when i go over a bump it just moves either to the right or left, and i know ball joints cant be adjusted how would it affect anything?

No, you certainly don't need alignment after ball joints, unless your previous alignment was done when ball joints were bad and loose.

If your car is driving sloppy after ball joints replacement, check other suspension parts. You stiffened up the ball joints, now the weak link is somewhere else.

As your ball joints start to wear so does the rest of the suspension, it "moves." When you replace the ball joint all of the dependant parts of the suspension need to be brought back into spec so that the car tracks correctly. Addtionally, if the ball joints were bad, an alignment might expose other areas of the front end that need to be addressed, most notably the upper control arm.

Get an alignment, be safe.
