how hard is it to replace the brake pads on the brembo's?
is it simple as taking out the pins andtaking the old ones out and putting the new ones in?

What pads are you replacing with? As for the procedure it's just as you said. Easy as pulling pins. I'm going to need to replace mine very very soon and plan on going with the Ferodo DS2500 pads which can be had for $220 for the front set.

Are you sure it's that easy for the rears? On other cars the fronts were usually easy but in back a hassle because of the parking brake.

Here is a DIY thread for the front brakes of an IS350. The procedure is/should be nearly the same for the IS-F.

It should be a very easy switch, I just did my Rotora BBK the other day and it was easy as pie.

I wouldn't exactly say that. Hammer out the top pin with a 5mm pin punch, remove the anti-rattle spring, hammer out the lower pin, then remove the bolt and pad guide tie rod to get the pads out. Installation starts with the lower pin first, then the bolt and pad guide tie rod, then anti-rattle spring, then upper pin. Other than that, yeah, it's about the same for fronts and rears.
