Exclamation Wobbly suspension, please help!

Hey guys, I need your help.

I own a 99 GS300 with 175k miles on it. I tried searching the site as much as possible and found that I should be replacing my lower ball joins ASAP but didn't find the solution to my problem:

When I drive on the highway at speed, anytime I go over a bump or a dip, the car wobbles severely. Not just side to side or just front to back, but more like all around, front/back/side/side all at the same time if that makes any sense. After reading all of the suspension horror stories I'm getting extremely scared. I don't want to take it to the dealership because I'm sure they'll rip me a new one. What's strange is that I noticed this wobbling after I just got new tires put on the car from Costco. Please help guys, I want to fix this ASAP!

Thanks!

Is that what the issue is? Any suggestions on what to get and where to get them from?

I have the same problem, but only on the right side. My suspension wobbles all over the place if I travel over a bump or pothole. If I go over some bump with the left side, everything is normal. I suspect shocks/shock mounts since my control arms are all good, so check your shocks.

If it started after getting new tires, they may possibly be out of balance or the alignment is off. The GS is very picky when it comes to tire balance.

Check your sway bar. A loose sway bar or bad sway bar bushings will cause side to side wobbles. Bad shocks will show more up and down jounces.

Since it happened after you put new tires on, jack up the car spin each tire and see if has a bubble or something. Or bring it back for balancing

Looks might good to me. I'm assuming you got the alignment after you installed your coils. Then i guess the coils would be the culprit. IMO

I have not gotten it fixed yet. I will actually be taking the car back into Costco tomorrow to start there first. After I get it re-balanced and aligned I will post my results.
