Default F-Sport Shocks + H&R

What do you guys think of this combo? I'm already lowered on F-sport springs. I just need to go a little bit lower and I think the drop on H&R's is a perfect drop. I've considered coilovers, but I don't think I will have the time and patience to adjust the height and dampening.

H&R's are going for about 250
F-Sport shocks are around 600

Total cost: about 900 bucks, which is less than the cost of most coilovers

What do you guys think of pairing up H&R's with F-Sport shocks?

I also think H&Rs have the perfect drop. I don't need the adjustability of coils because when I do get the drop I like, I'd just LEAVE IT there!!!

And since I LIKE the H&R drop ... No point in wasting $$$$ on coils.

If you can afford it, I think F-Sport shocks would be a good idea since they are made for lowering springs where the stock ones are not. Plus, Iv'e heard great things about the shocks, people say springs+shocks are a much better combo that springs alone

Megan ez coilovers go for 675 shipped. Adjusting coil overs isn't hard, and it's even better when you can soften your dampening to make your car drive like stock

Today, I had the F-Sport springs and OEM shocks swapped for the H&R springs and F-Sport shocks installed. To be honest, the height difference is minimal, but handling has improved. Ride is slightly stiffer but still comfortable and the car sways a lot less on turns. Hopefully, the car will get lower a little more as I drive more.

IMO spring with shocks rides way better then coils, I had spring on my rsx and Evo, later changed it to full coils. on the Rsx it was tein ss, the Evo had stance GR+ and both were super stiff with setting on low.

IMO, the ride of the f-sport shocks and H&R springs is too bouncy. I am switching back to stock shocks with the H&R springs. I ran that for about 10k miles before putting in the F-sports and it was a better ride (although a stock shock blew out on me).

i would buy coils if your spending $900 for just a LITTLE drop difference. just sell the fport springs to lower the total cost.use that $600 for shocks plus $250 for springs and get BC or stance GR with a little money on top you will be reallly happy.
