Default '01 GS300 Rear Struts

New user here. I'm getting ready to install new rear struts on my GS. Does anybody know of a past thread where this topic was discussed? Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks for the response. I used that link to do the front struts. It was spot on. Now if I could just find a similar one for the rears I'd be set. Thanks again!

Again, thanks for the response. Although I didn't find the write up until after the fact, I went ahead and did the job anyway. The write up is on target, as the steps I took were identical to those described in the write up.

OK, did this this weekend.. pain in the *** first one took about 4hours nothing wanted to line back up... second one took 45min to takeoff and install..lol..... car feels amazing kyb gr-2 and Eibach springs. they aint coilovers but im realistic i wont be drifting my gs anytime soon. also did lower ball joints, tie rods and polyurethane sway bar bushings while i was down there. found all parts for a song. and saved my self about 1500 in labor well worth it.

Absolutely agree with the savings! Did front and rear (kyb GR-2) for $388, which included the cost of the spring compressor. The shop wanted $1400 for the same job. Also had the similar experience with the rear. Couldn't get the strut to line up properly using a Chilton DIY instruction sheet. Once I figured out that the lower suspension arm needed to be dropped and the lower strut bolt needs to be in place first it was a piece of cake.
