Default Struts Purchase

Guys...has any of you ever purchased struts online? I'm trying to locate an online retailer that sells KYB/Tokico shocks/struts available to Ontario.

check out www.performanceunlimited.ca

It's a performance shop in London Ont....which is probably out of the way if you are in T.O, but I thought I'd let you know anyway. I'm likely heading over there at some point this week anyway as I am also looking to purcahse some Tokico HP's. I'll let you know.....

I just called them up. Very pleasant to talk to. I ordered a full set of rear KYB struts and strut plates. It's a bit of a drive so I ended up asking them to ship it to me...shipping came to $30-35 which is what I would have spent in fuel.

Now to find a mechanic to install. Will keep you updated.

good stuff sultan...i was just about to PM you. I didn't even remember to get pricing on the KYB's though...

what did you end up paying for everything? The Tokicos were quoted at 160 per corner, but they are having a sale this sunday and apparently everything will be marked down at least a bit, so I'm going to go check them out again then

Also, excuse my ignorance, but if I'm buying struts, what else do I need? Should I assume I will need new mounting plates or whats the deal with that?

Thanks!

I ended up ordering a full set of Tokico's instead. The GR2's were out of stock and on back order from the supplier. No word on how long. The blue's should be here soon...will let you know when I have them installed.
