hey everyone, i'm undecided between the flex and the h&r coilovers. i understand h&r are only height adjustable, use progressive springs and do not come with top hats, BUT HOW DO THEY RIDE?????? compared to the flex, are they soft like the tein cs or are they firmer like the bilstein pss?? i'm a spirited driver and since the damping cannot be adjusted, i'm looking for something firm. the flex's only drawbacks are that they are noisy with the pillowball mounts. spring rate on the flex are lower than the pss on the front but higher on the rear. i just need to know how does the H&R compares and stacks up. not many people on here are running them, but those that are, please chime in and share your exeperiences.

I can't speak from experience on a GS as I have the eibach prokit on mine at the moment. I can say from experience on my many mr2's with pretty much every set of coilovers available. I have run them all! The H&R's are by far some of the best riding coilovers. My only complaints with them would be that they do not come with the upper pillow ball mounts and that they do not have dampening adjustability. They ride far better than any Tein's, Cuscos, TRD, Megan, k-sports, and the super rare Phoenix Power setups. I hear great things about the KW lineup and it does have dampening but again no pillow *****. I wouldn't hesitate to buy some for my GS400 too! When it is time that will be my choice! My friend has them on his 993TT Porsche as well and the ride is amazing!
