Default Coilovers

Im in the market for a set of TEIN CS coilovers, first I was trying to find how much of a drop i could possibly get out of them and then i came a across a pic of someone who has a set and they almost look stock. Which them made me think about BC racing coilovers, i know they drop much lower, however how is the ride quality with these when comparing to stock. I was literally minutes away from ordering the TEIN CS coilovers. should I be changing my mind?

i have teins now and love the ride comfort but hate how they dont really slam the car even when the coilover is all the way down. 2 of my friends have the bc coilovers and their cars ride smooth but a bit stiffer due to the spring rate i would order the bc coils

stay away from coilovers that lower the ride at the pre-load only.

I am willing to get the BC coilovers but I hear that the ride is very stiff and on NY streets I don't think I will be looking forward to the ride. Another thing is that I roll on 19 in staggered setup, if I do go with the TEIN CS, will I be able to sit flush ?

If your willing to pay for Tein CS, why not op for BC or Stance coilovers?
At least with BC, you can get custom spring rates and rear extenders. I don't know too
much about Stance, but I heard you can go extremely low.

I'm relatively new to this so if I opt for the BC coilovers how do I go about getting the different spring rates?

The vendors can help you out. They're well knowledgeable when it comes to coilovers.

Stance or BC's are good choices for the GS.
Tein's do not like to ride low

....mind you, if you're just looking for a cheap coilover to ride low, they do the job well.

We can do a custom set of BC Racing coilovers for you that would allow a very low drop but have softer spring rates for a "comfrot "setting.

PM us if you're interested

Definately go with BC racing. I love my coils and you can opt for any spring rate setup you want. BTW Circuit, i don't mean to thread jack but i got a quick question. I've got a set of BC racing coilovers i've had on my car for about 5 months now. 12k/10k spring rates, and they are a little soft for my liking even at full stiff. I wish i would have gone with higher spring rates. What are my options at this point?
