Supra TT brake upgrade on my 98 GS400
#31
The costs of putting together a Supra kit are the same as just getting the Rod Millen kit. For the rest who are considering this upgrade, I would suggest you stick with Steve as he will surely take care of you.
I'm going to talk with stop tech and wilwood to see if they can do something for our cars.

You don't really NEED the rear brakes upgraded. The Supra TT , and the stock GS use the same type of brake (2 caliper). It probably won't improve your braking distance, like the front upgrade would.

Well, i have 20x8.5 with a 38+ offset. In order to fit the calipers you basically need either to get rims that fit a supra, use wheel spacers (not recommended), or if its barely rubbin you can grind the caliper a little bit like I did. Hope that helps.

Damn... and I thought the last guy was bad for bumping an 8-year old thread but you just trumped him. But, I can't knock you for searching.
Anyway, ABS works fine with either the TT or LS brake swap.
