I did a search and didnt come up with much. Therefore, if this has been covered previously i appologize in advance

looking to get 2 sets of either stoptech or rotora rotors. i was wondering which CL vendors carry these, if any (i know carson carries rotora)

If anyone has a decent place to pick these up from, please share!

If you look around used you will find pretty good deals. I sold all 4 of my Rotora 4pot 14" BBK last year for $1800.

Sounds like you want rotors only. Do you have a Big Brake Kit already or just want oem replacement rotors?

Send me a PM and I can point you in the right direction.

I'm not looking to do a big brake kit, I personally have no need for it.

I'm just looking for OEM replacements from either rotora, stoptech or any other recommendations on decent slotted rotors. I'm going to fit them with either hawk or OEM lexus/toyota pads.

In another thread a member mentioned an ebay seller "brakemotive76" who sells front and rear drilled/slotted rotors (all 4) and front/rear pads for $194 with free shipping. I have 2 issues with this:

1. For that price, how good can they be? In my experiences, you get what you pay for.

2. Brakemotive states they will fit 01-07 GS. I have a 99. I thought fitments for all 300/400/430 from 98-05 were the same?

Sakataj-

How many miles are on the rotors you are selling, and are they in good shape?

Also, how much are you looking for? IMO I thought I was best off buying them new.

Thanks

miles....i dunno 15-20k maybe. great shape....dunno what i want for them, have to get my LS ones first. probably a 1/3 or 1/2 of the replacements.

new or used, up to you. long as they are in tolerance its fine.

IF i get them off soon i will sell them if not i will sell them whenever i do

Sounds good, let me know when/if you are ready. I have to do the rears now though, they started to grind Been waiting for a fairly warm day to do them, but its getting progressively colder

Installed the cross drilled Stoptech rotors on my car last week. Washed it yesterday and came out this morning to find rust in every hole of the rotor and all around the inner part of the rotors where the brakes don't reach! Cheap *** rotors! Car looked better with OEM rotors! Try Rotora......

All rotors will rust after a car wash. It has nothing to do with being 'cheap' at all. Splash some tap water onto a set of $6k Brembo brakes and the cross drilled holes will rust too.

don't buy rotoras..junk stuff.

seen friends with thier BBKs with just one track session have either worn out pads or cracked rotors.

buy Brembos or OEMs, stoptechs are good also.

+1

I took off Rotora slotted rotors 6 months ago that I had on the car for over a year and replaced them with a Rotora BBK front and rear set. Even the installer commented on the high quality of the BBK when installing.

CLGForce, unless you have personal experience with a product you might temper your negative comments.
