Rubber Bump Stops
Question to all of you guys that have replaced your springs and or shocks...Is there a way to cut the rubber bump stops after you have already installed lowering springs on your car without disassembling them again? I get a clanking noise from the rear of my car and that is what I suspect. I have no problem with pulling the shock and spring off again, but I don't have a spring tool. Also, will this affect the ride height and will I need to do this to the front? I replaced my springs about 30,000 miles ago, so I have no idea what was done in the first place but the noise is beginning to annoy me. I am buying a set of Teins soon, but in the mean time...I still really want to fix it...thanks!
