Default 2010 IS250 Brake Dust

Hi guys;

Have a 2010 Is250 with 8000 km (5000 miles)

I am confused, are the 2010 models using the dustless brake pads or using the same pads from 2006? I get lot of brake dust showing up after driving 1 week(all city), not sure if this normal.

I want to complain to the dealership but not sure if this is the replacement pads as per their 2006-2008 model TSIB.

Please let me know guys.

TSB for excessive brake dust is for 2006-2009 IS, VDS(s): BE262, BK262, CK262...

2010 is not on the TSB, you should be good...also, brake dust building in 1 week is actually pretty good...I have the TSB pads (getting replaced tomorrow) and they get the wheels caked in about 1-2 days

Check out a previous post about the Armor All brake dust protectant...sounds like it might help you out

Either you don't really have the TSB pads or you're beating the HELL out of your brakes.

With the TSB pads you shouldn't have significant brake dust after 1-2 weeks, let alone 1-2 days.

1-2 days is the original high dust pads.

LOL...I have the original high dust pads, sorry if I didn't make that 100% clear...doesn't really matter, they are getting replaced today
