Never heard of having to reset it. I believe the only computer operation for the brakes is for bleeding the rears with the abs pump. I may be wrong though...

well i got the rear brakes replaced and thats when i started getting the mushy petal, alot of threads I have read had problems with the brake master cylinder after replacing brakes so im wondering if there is something the shop did wrong when replacing my brakes because it happend immediately afterwards.
I thought it would go away by it self but it did not now im either looking at alot of money at the brake master cylinder or other maybe possible solutions

If the pedal is mushy, then the shop did not bleed the brakes properly. Take it back and tell them to fix it.
