Help with lowering springs!!!
What lowering springs will give the best drop? Is the ride quality different than stock. Im getting 19x8.5 rims on a 2008 AWD and dont want that much of a gap, but dont want to rub. Please help
H&R has the best drop IMO ... and they now make them for AWD

H&R, S-Tech and the Eibach250 give the best drop for springs imo, and from what I know the ride on Eibach is more "like stock" than the other two. I cant really comment on the awd since mine is a rwd but I have the H&R and I love them. One thing about lowering springs is that if you plan on putting them on stock shocks, you'll shorten the life of the shocks since they aren't designed for a lowered ride.

point is, yes, aftermarket lowering springs will accelerate wear and tear, but not to the extent of near-future premature failure.

oddly enough, you can match f-sport springs w/ oem shocks and still retain oem warranty (given that you have them installed @ an authorized dealership's service center)...

Yes, there is some loss of ride comfort with any lowering springs and the lower the worse it gets. I have Eibach 350's (same as F-Sports) with OEM sport pkg shocks and the ride is slightly rougher than before. But I feel the tradeoff is worth it, which is strictly opinion.
In short the most comfortable setup is the stock setup, engineered by Lexus.
The warranty on suspension parts is a non-issue. Shock failures are rare and can happen with stock setup or lowering springs. Shock life with moderate lowering is a non-issue also.

Have you checked out the Tanabe nf210? These springs emphasize comfortable ride and clean ride height that is not too low.
