Default Help, brake fluid leak

I flushed my brake fluid two weeks ago, three days ago I noticed a small amount of fluid under car. The leak is dripping off of the firewall 'blanket' and appears to be comming from behind the 'blanket'

Any ideas of the source?

make sure you didn't overfill the reservoir. this happened to me and I thought I had a leak after bleeding my brakes... is the reservoir wet with brake fluid? if so take some out (just above the low level line) and screw your cap back on. see if that works...

My reservoir was overflowing and it was not even filled to the full line..

According to the brake fluid reservoir. It says to pump it 40-50 times before adding more fluid as it's still in the system

Took car to dealship and turns out I overfilled with brake fluid. Very involved explaination that I would have needed a tape recorder to get it all. The pumping thing is three pumps BEFORE you even put the key into the ignition, then top off. I drove it and then toped off after flushing system, this caused my overflow out the 'self bleeding' cap.

glad you got that cleared up....i'd clean that up in the engine bay... as it eats away at your paint.
