Default Question about the brakes...

Well, I always wondered. Where does the heated brake fluid go? I mean there's only one line going to and from the brake reservoir to each caliper. There's no return line to draw the hot/old fluid back to the reservoir. It can't suck the brake fluid back up the line because that will cause bubbles to form in the lines. Fluid is not compressible so just wondering where it goes. Or does the brake fluid in the line stay "stagnant"? Only way I can think of is the temperature differential causes cooler fluid to move slowly down the lines while hot fluid moves toward the reservoir. Kind of like how a heatpipe works in a computer cooling system. Can any of you brake experts chime in on this?

in my estimation, not much circulation there. the fluid more less just transfers the pressure but doesn't move too much.
