Default BCracing coilovers ???

Hey everyone,

stupid question, just bought BC racing coilovers. At full height on these coilovers, does it lower the car from factory? If so how much? Any ideas?

No, I have them and if you raise them full height it will look like a 4x4, and im pretty sure its higher than stock. With my rims and stock suspension I get about a 2 finger gap on the rear. But one time I raised the BC racing coilovers not even all the way and it already had a 2 finger gao on the rear. This is with the same tire/wheel setup.

not to highjack the thread but i pretty much have the same question. Whats the recommended clicks for the front and rear for what seems to match the stock ride quality? and what preload?

Preload should be set from the factory, you want about 3mm of preload.

Height is totally up to you, and it's a matter of measuring where the car sits when you first put the coils on and drop it. There's gonna be at least one time you are going to have to put the wheels on and drop it, then meausre, and jack it back up to adjust the height. IF you take the measurements right the first time it might only take once

As far as damping, some guys start out in the soft range and work up from there to find the spot they like. Try something like 5 clicks up from soft front and 3 up from soft in the rear and go from there.

Feel free to PM us if anyone has any questions or needs pricing on a set

So are you saying to set the lowest collar (the one that controls preload) 3mm from the bottom of the thread ?
