Default LS430 Caliper brackets for 2GS?

Hey guys, does anyone here know of any comapnies making a backet to support the LS430 (UCF3#) calipers for the 2GS? I know of a company making it for the rear and they are quite resonably priced. But I only know of one company making it for the front however they want over 1k just for the bracket alone which seems ridiculous. Here's some photos of the rear setup

Thats only an example of the rear. I'm looking for a bracket to cater to the front. This is a photo of the LS430 front calipers

those would be sick to slap on a GS. maybe you can get a fabricator to make a template and cut it for you with aluminium. would probably be less i would think

The front ls430 are huge, are they aluminum? What's going to happen to the brake bias?

iNS0MNiAC, you should contact Figs (one of our CL vendors) who I believe makes a similar kit for Supra TT brakes and the 1IS to see if its something he can do.

Somebody once made these - or at least had fabricated one - and were selling gold painted LS430 brakes as "DSR" big brakes, https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sus...ig-brakes.html

I think they will bolt up...the issue is the steering. The modern Gen 3 vehicles and gen 2 IS have the steering rack in front of the hub whereas the Gen2GS and Gen 1 IS have the steering behind it. The bigger brakes mean that it consumes the entire backside of the spindle area and pushes right into ths space of the steering.

If I modify my IS RCA steering knuckle to fit the Gen 2 GS, this will solve things but I have to check. Here is my steering knuckle installed.

and the new design after the first proto

Thanks FIGS for the input, but I think you may have misinterpreted me. If you take a look at the photo below you will notice the LS430 calipers are bolted from the bottom and not from the back as most brakes traditionaly do thus needing a bracket as shown in the first post to make it possible.

As for attempting the 3GS or 2IS unfortunately even though these also bolt from the back they are not a direct fit and would need brackets as well.
