you can take an assembly for an is300 and do some fabrication to make it fit. if you want a hydraulic one go with aftermarket (check zilvia.net)

for temporary measures, use any 20 class-a cigarette box to put in between the e-brake release handle and the dash itself. you can stomp on the e-brake pedal as many times as you wish without having it to lock up.

the 2gs is a great car for just about anything; it's just a relatively expensive platform to build

Anything is possible if you can sign a blank check and not worry about the banks coming after you, however careful planning and you realizing that drifting is very expensive especially for the upstart. Then you can plan accordingly

It's a really, really bad idea to drift around a city.

Hey, great minds think very much alike. Don't give yourself all the credit now. Haha.

I'm just trying to hint to the OP that he should take it to the track and do some research before even attempting to try this at all. There's a huge difference between some innocent fun (power slide around a vacant corner, WOT down a non-busy street) and wanting to drift around every corner or race down every strip of asphalt that you see.

is this drifting area of yours by chance called a walmart parking lot? because thats still a bad idea. I enjoy stomping on it at the occasional green light, and doughnuts in the wet but its all about moderation, and more importantly safety

It may be by a track or something. I remember a video a friend of mine did where theres a huge paved area (looks like a parking lot) specifically for messing around within the the vicinity of the local track... so its just a big maybe in his case
