Yeah i was thinking about trying somthing with my coilovers b4 i switched them out.but i wasnt sure if it was a good idea or if it was gonna work and be worth the time.anyways yeah as some ppol may kno Tein CS doesnt go as low as we want so i was goin to try something like removing 1 of the 2 spring seats on the threaded shck body to get a few extra threads to spin down. i dont know if anyone understands wht i mean..? pretty much take my struts off and appart and remove one of the spring seats by twisting them all the way up.and replacing 1 of the spring seats only with the flat surface up so the spring can rest on the same surface.meaning taking the BOTTOM spring seat off or flipping the other one upside down will be the same, but it should free up thread space, get it? i just wanted to try this to the front two struts first because i feel like they need to be lower. so if anyone gets what im gettin at lemme kno if its possible and even a good idea or not. thanks. im goin to try it either way but i jus want to see if anyone has dont this b4.
i know what your talking about... its like taking a threaded rod and cutting it shorter so it can go deeper into the hole therefore making it shorter in terms of adjustment. I dont think thats a good idea since the shock wasn't design that way to began with... Why dont you just sell your tein CS and pick up a set of megan or buddy club...
yeah you kinda got the idea. anyways yeah i was thinking the same thing about the shock. im actually lookin for new suspension now. but i dont know if anyone would wnt to buy my CS.
