I got a question...
Where do I find "lithium soap base glycol grease"?
The Toyota service manual says to use "lithium soap base glycol grease" when re-installing the piston seals, pistons, and boots.
Are they provided with the rebuild kit?
I seen someone just use regular brake fluid around the new piston seals and pistons during install.

thanks guys. my kit did come with a packet of grease...its a pink packet...but didn't open to see the color of the grease.
I just finished removing and cleaning all 8 pistons...it was a PITA. My air compressor only pop out 1 piston from each caliper....the other 3 pistons needed to be removed manually. I got it down...and did the 2nd set of calipers in 10 minutes.
Replacing the seals and re-installing the pistons and boots will be for another night...then cleanup and a painting the calipers on the next Sunday.

it made more of an upgrade than anything else on my LS when I changed all the seals and boots on mine as well. brake fluid works well , the pink stuff is to hold things in place for rebuilders.

I think this should be standard practice for everyone if you installing a used set of calipers.
